How does Dedicated Hosting function?
Things are pretty straightforward when it comes to dedicated hosting. You have complete control over an entire server for your website. Furthermore, you can configure it to do exactly what you require.
For example, your hosting provider (such as Namecheap) will lease you a blank server. To improve functionality and reliability, you will need to configure it by adding software and hardware components. Similarly, setting up dedicated server hosting is similar to customising a website.
During the setup process, you will customise the server’s hardware such as RAM, storage, CPU power, and so on. Because of their flexibility, dedicated servers are an excellent choice for most power-hungry tasks, including gaming.

Great customer service. Had an issue with billing and within minutes everything was resolved. Kind helpful people. Highly recommend.
SiteGround has gone down from when I…

SiteGround has gone down from when I first started with them. Their support staff is still friendly and helpful but HOW you access them is now horrible. It used to be that one could open a ticket and then go on about your business. That was Nirvana! Now you have to dodge a phalanx of questions just to get to the two options of "chat" and "telephone", neither of which give you the freedom to communicate asynchronously! Their Site Tools is a pain in the rear (give me cPanel ANY DAY!). Every link is javascript so you can't easily open up new tabs by dragging the link - again, making it less flexible and convenient to work with. Collaborators is a nice feature but you can't help users with their email nor with domain transfers. All of this would be tolerated if they were not so SLOW (and expensive)!!! TTFB is horrible. I used to be a fan, but I won't steer anyone to SiteGround anymore.
