I was reading some reviews about hosting to chose one for my project then i decided to try ipage offer .I went to the official website to chose my plan and register for 3 years and i had a problem registering but i contacted the customer service to support me and they helped me to finish registration and do my payment.Then i foun out they gave me only ( 1y free domain )!!, I asked the customer service about how to get my plan free gifts like the gift code ( 100$ google adsense) ? They asked me to hold on to check then they said , Sorry we don't give other gifts for your kind of customers .. i was like 😦 what!! ..They said we only give those gifts for US customers .So it's not my hosting plan , it's just because I'm not a US customer 😅 wow that's awkward.. ipage is races guys maybe they will ban me later because I'm black ..I give you 2 stars because of the customer service was good and live, but I'll never be loyal customer because I'm not your kind of customers.Help your self and edit your policy, all customers are equally, if 2 customers payed the same payment for the same offer they should get the same service equally.

Bad online suport menus

I purchased my domain name and 2 weeks later went to sign up for hosting and begin building my web site. Imagine my dismay when I was told by the help desk that I could not access the help menus (error404) until I had a web host set up. Talk about a catch 22! I will be transferring this domain to GoDaddy after the 60 day registeration period ends. What a terrible experience with the live voice support. Fortunately the chat line rep gave me the much needed inforamtion to at least proceed forward today
Incompetence reigns large. Support can read but can't troubleshoot if it's not what you already read.

The ppl are kind but incompetent when it comes to email setup. They are simply reading the same thing I am. I had already tried that and told them I needed more support than that. I called 8 times -- and had 1 chat -- all were ridiculous until the last guy who actually figured out how to set up my Outlook because I already have another Exchange email. I had to call so many times that I figured out how to set up the iphone on my own after multiple failures. The support ppl do not actually provide SUPPORT other than what you can read on their site which wasn't working for me. They were nice -- but incompetent. I waited for a supervisor twice and finally hung up after 30-40 mins. I also got disconnected 2x by a support person (2 different ppl) and another time I could hear a rooster crowing in the background. Seriously? I understand ppl can be anywhere but hang ups and distractions for customer support are not ok. Domain.com sucks. They did not deliver. I asked for a discount MULTIPLE times but clearly no one on the team is authorized. What a mess. I will move my domain in 2 years when it's up but I'm stuck for now bec I needed email immediately. It's the only reason I'm staying. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
